We’re inviting Christian writers to contribute blog posts that challenge the world’s way of storytelling and call fellow creatives in the body of Christ back to the ways modeled by THE Author (of all creation)! Share insights that help writers find inspiration in the storytelling techniques modeled throughout Scripture—where truth meets beauty, tension births redemption, and every story points to Christ. Not every story needs to be explicitly Christian; we support all stories that uphold biblical principles and celebrate the common grace of Christ (as well as those that explicitly declare the good news of His salvation). It you'd like to join us as we equip and encourage one another to craft creative works that glorify Him and awaken hearts through faithful, imaginative storytelling!

What We Look For:
CHRIST-HONORING CREATIVITY
We encourage Christian authors to praise God through the creative gifts he's given them! This encouraging, edifying goal is the core quality we look for in all submissions. Does this piece help us (and our reader/writers) to desire to glorify God with creative praise offerings? Does the piece point out a common problem area for writers...and show how Christ and his word offer the solution to overcoming it? The more it does, the more likely we are to reach out to you and get it ready for publication!
Original human-generated ideas
No machine can do what God created His imagers to do! We want original ideas that reflect the unique individual voice that God himself knitted into you! We avoid content that regurgitates the same information shared everywhere else. Academics tend to reduce creative writing into lists, tips, and hacks. We look for real processes, probing questions, messy realities—and insights into storytelling as modeled by The Author of Salvation through his word!

Scripture-forward
We treasure scripture as the story of Christ. It is THE EPIC of all time—and beyond! Feel free to cite authors and other sources... but we look for articles that are primarily centered on, rooted in, and supported by scripture.
Submission Guidelines:
LENGTH
We generally publish posts that are 1,000 - 1,500 words; the minimum lenght is 850 (assuming the topic is thoroughly covered).
AUTHORITATIVE
The piece should present information with the full authority of scripture—in a tone that makes it engaging, thought-provoking, and relevant to young Christian writers and their families.
structure
The article should be separated into three to five sections with distinct headings in bold. Generally, the more words, the more sections they should be separated into.
FORMATTING DETAILS
Please use only 12-point Times New Roman font, double spaced with in-text citations (no footnotes). Be sure to utilize excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
BONUS: ImAGES
Including 1-5 original images is a plus! You must own the copyright to these images (think original artwork, photography, etc.). Our publishing process will protect and affirm your copyright of all content, including images!
